Pollution levels are increasing at Delhi almost every day. Due to
stubble burning from Punjab and Haryana, overall Air Quality Index (AQI) as recorded in Delhi was 341 which is a cause of worry. De-forestation for construction and infra development and increasing vehicles have contributed to pollution over the years.
Recently a Ban on construction work was imposed in Delhi-NCR till Nov 10 to combat pollution. Authorities have warned to take action if any violation is found. AQI of 361 was recorded on Friday, October 26 which is supposed to be highest recorded this time.
Below is classification of AQI
Knowing the situation a team Renault India customers and employees have come together to drive today as part of the #DrivingSmiles initiative to plant trees to fight increasing air pollution in NCR region. We at autotalk deeply appreciate their effort to do their part by planting the tress and making the world better place to live.
