Production of New Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has begun

Ahead of big India launch on Nov 21st, production of next generation Ertiga has already began at MSIL’s factory. The car is 99mm long, 40mm wide and 5mm tall than the older Ertiga. Thought the car is lengthier, boot size has been reduced by 32 litres to give extra leg room to 2nd and 3rd row occupants.

The car now is built on HEARTECT platform which will provide additional strength and also help car reduce its weight. The car looks completely refreshed with beautifully redesigned front grill, project light and VOLVO type tail lamps.

Initially 100 units are produced per day and eventually the capacity will be enhanced. The car is already launched in Indonesia and shall be launched in India on Nov 21st. Manufacturing of the car will be done in India itself.
