Hyundai Santro Launched at Rs 3.9L to 5.65L

Hyundai Santro makes a comeback into the Indian market after it was stopped selling for almost 8 years. The looks more modern and is a feature loaded car. The car is a entry level hatchback which sits in between Hyundai eon and i10. The car boasts of highly refined, silent engine and powerful AC.

The car is a mix of fluidic design with touch of tall boy concept. Santro gets ABS, Airbags, Rear parking sensors, camera, electric OVRM, power windows, rear wiper, defogger, fog lamps, rear AC vents etc. The car has a impressive boot-space of 235 liters. The new Santro gets impact sensing auto door unlock, speed sensing auto door lock and seat belt pre-tensioners with load limiter.

The new Santro is made of 63% Advanced High Strength Steel – AHSS and High Strength Steel – HSS. Lower trims get only driver side airbags where as higher trims get both driver and passenger air bags.

The car makes a comeback with a powerful 1.1L, 4 Cylinder engine which produces power of 68 bhp and 99 Nm torque. The car also comes in AMT and CNG variants. The car gives impressive mileage of 20.3 KM/L in petrol and  30.5 KM/Kg in CNG. The car comes with 3 years/1,00,000KM warranty with 3 years road side assistance.
