Hyundai is planning to launch its first ever compact SUV which is known by its code-name QXi. The production Hyundai QXi’s India launch will take place in mid-may 2019. Hyundai released a teaser last week that showed a camouflaged car. It is styling with LED strips above the main headlights and Hyundai’s trademark cascading grille will be the highlights at the front. Diamond-cut alloy have been spotted and LED tail lamps are also expected on QXi.
The Hyundai QXi is powered by 100hp engine, 1.4 litre petrol engine and 90hp, 1.4 litre diesel engine. It comes with three-engine gearbox options. Both of the engines comes with 6-speed manual transmissions. The Hyundai QXi automatic will be the only dual-clutch option in the compact SUV segment.
Here is no update about the price of this model, but it is simple to know that it won’t be cheap.
The sunroof is present in this model. It is also featured with touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay and with all basic features.
