Bajaj Dominar caught wile testing on road

Images of new Bajaj Dominar had surfaced on the internet some time back. The Flyingbandits have managed to capture video of the new Dominar testing on roads near Mumbai.

The spy video depicts that there has been major overhaul in terms of apperance, features and performance of the bike. Earlier launched in 2016, a much hype was created and the bike was priced strategically to take-on the legends like Royal Enfield. There were even videos made by Bajaj to tame Royal Enfield. The bike managed to sell only 1300+ units where as Royal Enfield managed to sell around 6000+ units.

Over period of last two years various tweaks have been made in the bike to make it perform better and fix various flaws in-order to make a provide better riding experience. 

There are few noticeable changes in the new Dominar which include;

  • Up side down (USD) forks similar to KTMs and the 320 mm disc is now placed on the left hand side.
  • The bike receives Mojo like exhausts like twin end-can design.
  • Engine may be upgraded to 6 Speed, BS-VI compliant engine.

The bike may come with 373 CC liquid cooled engine which shall produce a torque of 35 NM and generate power of 34.5 BHP. The bike can reach top speed of 147 KM/Hr and reach 0 to 100 in just 8.4 seconds. The bike is expected to give a mileage of around 35 KM/Ltr.

There may not be much change in pricing as the prices were revised recently. The bike shall be made available in both ABS and Non-Abs variants. While Non-Abs may be sold at 1.7 L, ABS variants may be priced at 1.85 L.
