5900 Super Carry vehicles recalled by Maruti Suzuki

Owing to customer safety, Maruti Suzuki has recently pro-actively recalled 5900 Super Carry vehicles to address potential safety defect and rectify the fault. These recalls are done by Suzuki globally.

For around 5900 vehicles manufactured between 26th April 2018 and 1st August 2018, Maruti Suzuki will perform the inspection of defective part and also replace the fuel filter for vehicles manufactured during this period.

From 26th December 2018 onwards vehicles of the vehicles are contacted by Maruti Suzuki for free inspection and replacement of the defective parts. Alternatively, customers can also visit https://www.marutisuzuki.com/imp-information-customer and enter the chassis number (MA3 followed by 14 digit alpha-numeric number) to check if their vehicle needs inspection.

Chassis number can be found on RC document, on invoice and also are embossed on the vehicle. The chassis number is 17 digit alpha numeric number starting with MA3 followed by 14 digit alpha numeric number.
