For the first time ever Maruti Suzuki Celerio joined the elite super sales club with sales of over 1 Lakh Maruti Suzuki Celerio sold in a span of 1 Year. 103,734 units of Celerio were sold in financial year 2018-19 there by increasing its sales by 10% as compared to previous financial year.
Ever since its launch is 2014, Celerio has its own fan following, the latest edition of Celerio X, their AMT variants have all contributed to such phenomenal sales of Celerio. There are over 4.7 Celerios which have been sold till date. Celerio is known for its style, features and easy drivability.
Below are some of the key highlights of this car:
- Nearly 31% of customers opted for Auto Gear Shift variants
- Top variant ZXI contributes over 52% of total sales
- 20% of total Celerio sales are of CNG variant
- Driver airbag, ABS and reverse parking sensors as standard

Celerio is offered in 1.0 L petrol engine and comes with both Manual and AMT transmission. It has to be noted that both Manual and AMT variants gives an impressive mileage of 23.1 km/l. The car is also offered in CNG variants which gives a mileage of 31.76 km/kg.
Safety features such as ABS, Driver Air Bags, Reverse Parking Assist System, Speed Alarm, Seat Belt Alarm are given as standard feature across all variants.
Vitara Brezza, Dzire, Baleno, Swift, WagonR and Alto are other cars of Maruti Suzuki to have crossed club of 1 Lakh annual sales.
